Building damaged at a Jewelry Store
A car drove through the front of a local jewelry store, causing structural damage to the wall, door, and creating a terrible mess of the interior. SERVPRO of Wheaton / Glen Ellyn / Lisle was called to help repair the building, included securing the front portion, which was damaged severely. Crews were able to create a temporary wall but also remove all of the glass, brick, and other debris caused from the accident. The temporary wall allowed the business to reopen and operate while awaiting final repairs, such as replacing the glass window and repairing the wall. As seen in the photos, a substantial clean-up was required for the store to begin accepting customers.
